- Español: Representación artística de un sistema binario, formado por un agujero negro y una estrella acompañante, que se mueve alrededor en una órbita que excede su límite de Roche. El agujero negro extrae materia de la estrella que forma un disco de acreción que gira alrededor de su propio eje. Parte de esta materia es expulsada en chorros polares de gas, altamente energéticos y colimados por el campo magnetico del agujero.
