Fotografie + English: Memorial to Barye, sculpted by Laurent Marqueste. The two groups are copies of those by Barye in the Louvre. The missing bronze group Thésée fighting the centaur Biénor by Barye which surmounted the pedestal and the bronze lion on the semicircular base were melt during WWII by the Germans. On May 6th 2001, a new but slightly smaller cast of the bronze group Thésée fighting the centaur Biénor has been resettled on the top of the monument. Square Barye on Boulevard Henri IV, near the Sully Bridge in Paris (4th arrondissement).

• Français: Monument à Barye par Laurent Marqueste. Les deux groupes sont des copies de ceux de Barye au Louvre. Le groupe en bronze Thésée combattant le centaure Biénor de Barye qui surmontait le tout et le lion en bronze qui figurait sur le piedestal semi-circulaire ont été fondus par les Allemands pendant la Seconde guerre mondiale. Le six mai 2011, une nouvelle fonte du groupe Thésée combattant le centaure Biénor d'une taille un peu inférieure à l'originale a été réisntallée au sommet du monument. Square Barye sur le boulevard Henri-IV, près du pont Sully à Paris (IVe arrondissement).
