  • The clock tower, the tallest of the cathedral's towers. The tower's spire reaches a height of 96.5 meters (317ft). There are 297 steps to the top of the soaring tower and there is the largest church bell in Eastern Europe.

  • The Golden Portal use to be the main entrance to the cathedral. Bohemian royals entered through this portal on coronation day. The colorful mosaic above the portal was created in the fourteenth century by Venetian artisans and depicts The Last Judgment.

  • St. Vitus Cathedral, dominates the skyline wherever you are in city.
  • The cathedral was commissioned by Charles IV, and construction began in 1344. it took almost six centuries to complete, with the final phase of construction in the period 1873-1929.
  • It is the largest and most important church in Prague, St. Vitus Cathedral has also been the site of the coronation of Czech kings and queens.
  • The Great South Tower of the Cathedral was founded in the late 14th century, then reconstructed in the 16th and again in the 18th centuries. The tower holds the biggest bell in the Czech Republic, called Zikmund, which dates from the 16th century.
