• This chart shows the naked-eye stars in the constellation of Sagittarius (The Archer). The location of the famous Trifid Nebula (Messier 20) is marked. This glowing star formation region can easily be seen in small telescopes and larger ones reveal the three dark lanes that give the object its name.

  Mapka zachycuje hvězdy viditelné pouhým okem v souhvězdí Střelce. Poloha mlhoviny Trifid (M 20, Messier 20) je označena červeným kroužkem. Tuto zářící oblast vzniku hvězd je možné jednoduše spatřit v malých dalekohledech. Větší dalekohled odhalí tmavé prachové pásy, které daly objektu jméno.
