1. Das Projektil (Geschoss), in der Jägersprache immer noch als Kugel bezeichnet.
2. Die Patronenhülse, die alle Teile zusammenhält.

4. Die Auszieherrille, die als Teil der Patronenhülse (z. B. bei Pistolenmunition und Munition automatischer Waffen) zum Entladen benötigt wird, bei anderen Waffen wird ggf. ein Rand am unteren Ende der Hülse verwendet.
